Catch the Moment

ANANDO: “Once again I am so happy to be working with Oshoexperience and my dear friends Shunyo and Marco.
The subject for our weekend together (10-11 April) is - Catch the Moment.

On the first day I will be looking at emotions - what makes emotions so difficult, and how to have more mastery by accepting and actually welcoming them rather than repressing or fighting them. This creates the magic that osho calls alchemy. Hopefully you will discover that emotions can actually be a source of positive energy rather than a drain.

On the second day, I will be looking at what that means in terms of our ‘problems’.
Osho says our problems only exist in the mind - they have no reality other than how our mind unconsciously chooses to interpret a situation.
What does this mean - it means that our problems all have one cause basically - wanting something to be different, not accepting some reality. That is what a problem is, no? Whether it is not accepting yourself as you are, or not accepting someone else as they are, or not accepting some event or situation which is happening, like covid and all its consequences. So then we have a problem because we want it to the different, and it is not. So we will look at how to bring some awareness to our ‘problems’ by catching ourselves in our stories, seeing how we create our problems.

Shunyo will be leading a meditation each day, with Marco’s wonderful inspiring music, to guide us into the moment and out of the mess in our minds.

Anando

Anando has more than 40 years of experience with Osho's meditations and transformation techniques. She has worked alongside Osho for many years in his personal staff. Her direct, loving and joyful approach allows people to quickly realize their inner potential for bliss and joy. She is the author of books and various CD guided relaxation techniques.

Shunyo

Originating from London, Shunyo travelled to India in the seventies and her training in awareness beganwhilst living close to Osho for fourteen years, as part of his household. She has been practicing Osho's meditations for over thirty-five years. And now shares her experience, facilitating meditation courses and groups for women, as she travels to many countries. She also conducts trainings for people who would like to teach meditation to others. Music, dance and celebration are an important part of Shunyos's work, and this coupled with her intuitive heartfelt way of working, allows participants to touch very deep levels of peace and silence. Her book: "Diamond days with Osho" has been translated in eight languages.

Marco

Musician and seeker of the unknown, in 1979 becomes disciple of the enlightened Master Osho and since then has been experimenting with sounds and music applied to meditation. From 1995 he has been playing live for events and growth groups all over the world. He has composed many meditations CDs. These meditations are ancient tantric liberation techniques.

 

SHUNYO AND MARCO

Program

Through the connection via Zoom you can take part in this meditation journey guided live by Anando and Shunyo and with Marco's music. The event is in English with live translation into Italian.

• There will be two hours and a half on Saturday morning April 10 from 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon (Rome time) with short breaks in between. Before the end of the session there will be a space for asking questions to Anando and Shunyo.

• Then - for those who want - you can participate in the Osho Kundalini Meditation in the afternoon from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

• On Sunday morning, April 11 we will meet again for two and half hours from 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon with Anando and Shunyo and Marco. With short breaks in between. Before the end of the session there will be a space for asking questions to Anando and Shunyo

• In the afternoon - for those who want - from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm again the Osho Kundalini Meditation.

Osho

“For those who want to live, not to think about it; to love, not to think about it; to be, not to philosophize about it - there is no alternative. Drink the present moment’s juices, squeeze it totally because it is not going to come back again, once gone, it is gone forever. But because of the misunderstanding which has been almost as old as man and all the cultures have joined in it – they have made the present part of time. And the present has nothing to do with time.
If you are just here in this moment, there is no time, there is immense silence, stillness, no movement; nothing is passing, everything has come to a sudden stop.

The present gives you the opportunity to dive deep into the water of life, or to fly high into the sky of life. But on both sides there are dangers – past and future are the most dangerous words in language. Between past and future, living in the present is almost like walking on a tight rope – on both sides there is danger. But once you have tasted the juice of the present, you don’t care about dangers. Once you are in tune with life, then nothing matters. And to me life is all there is. You can call it god, but that is not a good name because religions have contaminated it. You can call it existence, which is beautiful, but what you call it is not of any consequence. The understanding should be clear that you have only one moment in your hands – the real moment. And again and again you will get that real moment. Either you live it or you leave it unlived.”
